The Mount of Temptation Restaurant

The Mount of Temptation Restaurant first opened its doors in 1973 as a small café capable of serving 50 patrons. Today, the restaurant can accommodate 1,500 guests and boasts the largest international food buffet in the Holy Land. The buffet features more than 30 items that include salads, meats, fruits and sweets. Fruits, vegetables and meats are purchased in the morning from local farmers and shop keepers. Specialties of the house are lamb chops, Kenaffe (an Arabian sweet) and freshly squeezed orange juice and lemonade. The restaurant’s quality food is homemade daily with fresh ingredients. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the lunch specials.

Known as a tourist restaurant, The Mount of Temptation welcomes groups of all sizes—small or large—to enjoy its table dining or six-line self-service buffet. Catering services also are provided for parties, tours, outdoor picnics and other events. Contact us for more information.
